Paul Marvine is a unique creative thinker who applies his talents to designing solutions to problems across a broad spectrum of industries. His solutions are driven by a 'design thinking' approach to user interface design for software development, online front-end application development, branding, web site design, animation, and filmmaking.

Paul works directly with clients to immerse himself in their business goals, requirements analysis, and digs deeply into complex information architecture to develop intuitive and engaging user experiences.

He brings an analytical mind, a great sense of humor, and an easy-going approach to make working on solutions a fun and creative experience.

Prior to co-founding Larson-Marvine, Paul was Design Director at IPA, The Editing House, creating video graphics and 3-d animations. While there he started their interactive multimedia practice.

He was on the board of the Association for Multimedia Communications and worked on exploring the leading edge of new technology implementation.

Paul began working on implementation of new digital design and animation tools while Art Director at ABC-TV/WLS-TV in Chicago. While there he designed print and on-air advertising, developed show opens, animations, set designs, and designed station logos and identity.

Prior to his work in television, Paul worked for various magazines, exhibit design firms, and his own graphic design firm. He created promotions for GAMES magazine and internal communications and promotions for Playboy magazine.

Paul earned a Bachelor of Arts from the Rhode Island School of Design in Graphic Design.

In his free time, Paul enjoys jazz piano, designing folding things, geodesic domes, cooking, spending time with his children, granddaughters, and long walks with his partner in work and in life, Kim Larson.
